Hotplugging Disks Fail for LXCs

This appears to be a four month old problem that has persisted through many updates for me, but the posts reporting this bug seems to have stop. Was the patch was implemented?

Parameter verification failed. (400)

mp1: unable to hotplug mp1: failed to move 'mp1' into container hierarchy: Permission denied
