Hi team,

I have installed proxmox 3.4 and restored all my vms.

I seen that 3.4 has a hotplug of usb feature.

Can anyone help on how it works as do I just connect a usb pen drive and it will pass through or how to set it.

Please advise as it sould as a very good function.

Cheers,

Raj

Well, I'm Using this Feature in 3.4 to "hotplug" an external sub disk to a vm. And it works.

Well, you can defined
usb0:...
usb1:...

in you vm config file, and of course you can hotplug physical usb devices

This works since years, no need to add the "hotplug:usb" 3.4 feature for this.

What is not implemented, is to defined the usb0:, usb1: without stop/start the vm.
