Host losing connectivity when copying DHCP settings to static

Hello,

I can't figure out why the host has connectivity on DHCP but when I copy the exact same settings to static there is no route out. I am copying the exact same IP/CIDR + Gateway.

I don't even know where to start to look. I have never had this happen before.

Edit: Comparing "ip a" from both configs shows that there is no broadcast address on the static route but I've tried setting it both via x.x.x.x/24 and as a separate line "broadcast 255.255.255.0".

Thanks!

Hi,

are you editing the /etc/network/interfaces file directly or are you modifying it via the WebGUI? Can you provide the (anonymized) config here with the non working settings?
