Hi guys,
Just doing some testing on our new infrastructure we want to put in production and cannot get one thing right. For some reason load is very low with 20 openvz containers on it. But when we move one particular container then server gets sluggish. We have 2 identical servers and 1 that is live is running Solusvm which is what we want to move from.
Looks like very high mysql load within the VM this one has.
Is it because of deadline scheduler being used at default and not CFQ? CFQ is better at handling weird load issues.
I'm just a bit stumped at its hardware raid 10 with 6 x 2tb disks each. 64 GB ram on the boxes and XEon core processor 3.5.
I am 100% sure its some configuration issue I have somewhere in openvz more than likely. Any recommendations or anyone come across something like this before?
