Hello everyone,
I have been having issues with regards to the CPU setting set to "host" on proxmox windows 11 vm. When I set the CPU to "host" it will use 95-100% of CPU usage constantly and cause the vm to be very slow and jittery. However, when I set the CPU to "x86-v2-AES" then the usage is normal and low. My question is why does this occur? I have an i9 11900k processor. Lastly allowing CPU to be "host" allows me to enable resizeable bar for my GPU which would be awesome. It does not allow that in the "x86-v2-AES" form.
