So I have been doing some prep work to upgrade from 6.x to 7.x... and I believe I am ready to do that however I was doing some checks on why my CPU load was so high.

I found the following process eating my CPU for almost 2 Days now 44hr... Now I do know what this is and found some more on it to confirm what it was... but it should take a few minutes and go away... This appears to have hung.

Everything I read tells me I cant just kill this and I have not found any solutions on what to do if this goes forever. This appears that it will also prevent a server reboot for the upgrade... Im stuck on how to proceed.

Update:
After some further discussion / talks / and reading. I decided to KILL the process. It does not seem to have caused issues.

https://wiki.debian.org/UnattendedUpgrades
https://linuxhint.com/enable-disable-unattended-upgrades-ubuntu/

Reasoning...

1) The config file for Unattended is not even on my system...
2) The service does not even exist (cant stop or restart or start it)
3) The path thats listed /usr/share/unattended-upgrades ... also does not exist.. so not sure what it could be running.
