I have an NUC10 in which i am running OpenWRT 21 as my router.
I have add an USB-to-Ethernet port (where i PPPoE passthrou from ISP router to the NUC) and the NUC's LAN port is connected to my switch.

The problem occur when i am downloading anything with speed of 2-3 MB/s the CPU temp is increasing a lot and the fan working at maximum RPM.
When i am transferring files and the NUC's LAN port is at his maximum load (1 Gbit) i don't have this kind of problem.

My question why this happening at such low bandwidth (2-3 MB/s) and only with the USB-to-Ethernet stick?
I happen to have TP-LINK UE300 and TP-LINK UE300C but the problem was the same.

Here my settings

and here the status of CPU when i am not downloading anything

and here when i am downloading something from the net at 3.5 MB/s

In the beginning i configure the USB-to-Ethernet port via Network option to one Linux Bridge and then this Linux Bridge to the OpenWRT VM but i still i had this problem, then i though if i passthrou direct to the VM the USB-to-Ethernet stick it will be solved but unfortunately nothing changed.
