Help with pfsense in proxmox with 1 nic

Hi guys,

I have a proxmox user from OVH family soyoustart and I virtualised pfsense inside.

I have 1 public IP and I would like to put proxmox in the same LAN as the pfsense.

I was looking at this guide https://raymii.org/s/tutorials/Proxmox_VE_One_Public_IP.html but not sure if it is the correct one.

Can someone please help me

Hi,
this guide (not read in detail) does not use a PFSense. It youse the Proxmx VE internal Firewall with NAT.
Here in the forum are quite a lot of such setups that you like to achieve.
Search for "PFSense ovh"

You need two bridges one for the WAN port in the PFSense and one for Internal VM/CT communication.
WAN <-> vmbr0 (PVE) <-> vtnet0 (PFSense) <-> vtnet1 (PFSense) <-> vmbr1 (PVE)

do you I need to create virtual adapter for those. I only have 1 nic though

if I do VLAN in pfsense will it work.
