Hi , I was looking to create two separate vlans, vlan100 for proxmox management and vlan200 for my vms. Ive been able to access my PVE host from another computer plugged to my managed switch with vlan100 on port 3 but ive not been able to get internet access with vlan200 for my vms .
On my managed switch I have port 1 connected to my internet, port 2 connected to my proxmox host and tagged for vlan200 and vlan100, and port 3 untagged for vlan200 connected to a separate computer that ive been using to access my proxmox config ui.
Ive been using a vm template using cloud init for ubuntu-server iso and if i use the default vmbr0 bridge im able to get my vms connected to the internet, however if i set vlan200 tag for the vm nic im not getting a dhcp ip or any internet access for my vms.Im using a very basic tp-link TL-SG105E smart switch, not sure if im not configuring the switch /network interfaces correctly on proxmox.
Here is my config and pictures of the setup, any advice would be kindly appreciated. Thanks.
