Hey guys, i hope u doing well, im very very new on the proxmox enviroment and i just puchased a bare metal dedicated on NOCIX, and their support is kinda crap (unlike ovh (based on my experience)) and im trying to setup a windows server 2k8r2 vm and trying to conect it to internet, i already have a debian vm that is working fine, but the windows machine just dont want to connect (i already have set up the additional ips in the interfaces file)
this is my interfaces setup

and this is how i have it on the windows vm

i just asked to their support if they have some kind of locking but they said "we do not manage the aditional ips"

EDIT: forgot to mention, when im try to ping i dunno, google dns i get the "host unreachable" response

Are you using Intel E1000 as your network device model for the Windows VM?

Yeah,, after many many hours of test and try, thats the solution that i could get (and finally having a good support technician)
  1. Remove all the aditional ips from the etc/network/interfaces file, just leave the base IP
  2. restart networking or ifdown vmbr0 && ifup vmbr0
  3. put all the settings in the windows vm, reboot the vm and voila, internet on the windows VM
edit: i have no idea how nocix sets up their ip stuff, but that how it worked for me

As long as you intend on the VM owning one or all the public IPs then this is how it should be configured.
It appears this issue is solved?
