So ive been using proxmox for some years, but i have never really messed to much with network and cluster. Here is what i want to do, even though i do not know if it is even possible. Let me explain :

I want to run multible nodes, lets say 3 as a start. Lets call them 1, 2 and 3
1 : Only runs proxmox, would be a HA vps with ALOT of bw and 40g networking, as well as access to alot of ips.
2 : vms
3 ; more vms
I want to run --ALL-- traffic from Node 2 and 3 through node 1, so i can use node 1 to assign ips and manage it all. In future, there may be more nodes added.
Im aware that if node 1 then goes down for any reason, the entire cluster will go offline, but that is fine - This is nothing critical.
In theory, i want to be able to live migrate vms from node to node, without having to change any network things, keeping the external (or nat ip as some of them will have), and also keep the port forwarding added and so on.

Is this even possible? If yes, where do i start? Willing to pay for someone to actually set this up for me.

It depends on how the physical network between the three nodes looks like.

If they are simply connected on layer 2 (Ethernet) then you can use the default bridge networking with VLANs between the VMs.

Node 1 would then run a router VM (e.g. pfSense) that gets the Internet traffic and distributes it to the other VMs. All other VMs could then migrate between the nodes.
