Help networking with proxmox

Hello,
I'm sorry for this newbie question but, I have worked on this till I'm ready to throw it out the window (lol).

If someone could just point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it.

Here is my layout/problem:
I have one Debian computer with Proxmox installed on top. (I had to do this for computer/driver issues)
It has a internal drive running Debian/Proxmox/Home Assistant all running fine.
Then I have two Linux Mint computers and two Windows computers, all running fine.
Now,
I add a 8tb usb drive to my server (Debian/Proxmox) computer and would like all of my computers to see and use the 8tb drive.
I have tried to add it to Proxmox but everyone can't see it.
I even tried to add a TurnKey File Server to Proxmox and still could not figure it out.
So, one Debian/Proxmox server, two Linux Mint computers and two Windows computers all on the same network doing fine except,
Not wanting to play nice with the 8tb drive. I'm sure the answer is as plain as the nose on my face but, I just have myself so confused.

You will need to set up an NFS or SMB share. How else would other computers on the network "see" the drive? Proxmox is not a NAS so you will need to Google how to do this, or install a NAS in a VM and pass the disk in.

I understand that I will need to setup 8tb drive as a SMB share.
My problem is I have tried to follow 3 or 4 YouTube videos on the topic and all I end up with is a mess.
As I may have mentioned I'm still new to Proxmox and Linux.
I have reformatted and set back up my little server 4 or 5 times now.
Some of the videos want you to have the shares in a VT, CT or on top of Proxmox itself.
I wanted this to be a learning experience but, I just seem I'm pulling what little hair I have out.
Is there a simple step by step text file of how to do this?
I just don't think it should be so difficult.
