Help - Installing Proxmox on HPE microSD USB Kit

While choosing a server in order to install a virtual environment I noticed that latest version of ESXi doesn't support booting from the HPE microSD USB Kit which made me question if the case is similar when it comes to Proxmox VE! Has anyone tried that before or has a solid information about the matter?

PVE got HDD as a minimum hardware requirement. It writes a lot to the system disk and will kill USB sticks and SDcards in no time unless you get expensive industrial models. So either install PVE to HDDs or SSDs.
