Hi everyone,
I was recently experimenting with Proxmox and came across the following problem:
The server was a laptop.
The built in display uses an Intel HD 620.
I want my VM to use the Intel HD 620 and output on the devices screen.
To do so I activated IOMMU and followed the steps for iGPU passthrough.
This worked quite well for the Ubuntu VM but not for Windows. Starting the Windows VM resets the iGPU (screen goes black) but doesn't recognise the display. Through RDP I installed the driver, however even after that there was no Monitor (aside from RDP Virtual Monitor) recognised.
Any suggestions?
CPU: Intel i5 7200U
iGPU: Intel HD 620
Machine Type: Q35
Bios: OVMF
I am very thankful for any suggestions or workarounds
