I need some help to understand. I want to setup a test ceph server using the proxmox ve servers. I noticed that they want 3 nodes for a minimum test. I want to create a demo proxmox ve server and create 3 vm with proxmox ve on the demo server to have 3 ceph nodes. Is this possible? I know performance will be bad, it is just for testing. Thanks for any input on this. Robert

I have just finished ceph test installation.

With the wiki and the video, it's simple to configure.

My cluster :

3 Ceph / Proxmox nodes :

Prox 1 :

4 HD 1 To sata

1 ceph bond 4x 1Gb eth

Prox 2

4 Hd 1 To sata

1 ceph bond 4x 1Gb eth

Prox 3

3 Hd 1 To sata

1 ceph bond 4x 1Gb eth

My Windows 7 Vm test result:

Hello yakakliker

Thanks for the information on your testing. Can you give me a low down on the hardware and how many proxmox ve servers you used. Thanks
