Hi, I have a challenge:
I would like to always have automatically a copy of my files and folders from my user_1 workfolder into my user_1 backupfolder
Is it somehow possible in promox to automatically have a copy as soon there is a new file or folder from folder_1 into folder_2 ?
From my user_1 work directory => (/dev/sdb1) /mnt/pve/data_1/user_1/files/
into my backup directory => (/dev/sdc1) /mnt/pve/backup/user_1/files/

Or how would You manage this ?

Many Thanks
Ralph

Short of setting up replication, which will be backend dependent and would require custom setup, PVE as a hypervisor does not have such facility, nor is it really suitable for Hypervisor suite.
A quick google "linux automatically copy new files to another folder" leads to posts like https://superuser.com/questions/678191/copy-new-files-from-a-monitored-folder-to-another-in-debian

good luck
