Hi all,

My current home server (Dell T630) running Proxmox 8 has a motherboard issue and would no longer POST (VLT0222 voltage out of range). I just can't figure out what the problem is. I'm in the process to get a new one (Dell R730). I have about 5 RAIZ1 pool of 4 disks each. Most of the hardware from the T630 will be move the R730 (CPU, memory, SAS cards, etc), so both hardware are almost identical, as far as I can tell.

Scenario 1: Just install the ZFS disks (including OS) in the server and power on.
Scenario 2: Re-install Proxmox OS on a new HDD and install the HDD diskpools in the new server.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Basically, YES. If the new NICs are also used on the new motherboard (different MAC addresses), the name of the network interfaces may also change. If this is the case, they must be adjusted in the file "/etc/network/interfaces".
