hardware compatibility intel and amd?

I have an existing proxmox with valid subscription install on a intel machine,

2 host 3 for cluster and 1 for managing everything.

my question is can I add another host using an amd?

will there be any problem?

There should not be any problems as long as you use 'kvm64' as cpu type. Still there's no guarantee.

Offline migration should always work. Online migration is the one that might be problematic, but shouldn't be as long as you use 'kvm64'.

@mira is it ok to add another pool with SSDs? the current set up that I have is intel with HDDs and the additional machine that I will add has amd with it and SSDs.

Doesn't make a difference if you use HDDs or SSDs except for performance.
