We have deployed the around 20 Proxmox VE in our environment to test the all software compatability. We are planning to implement the same in our production environment once software compatability test are passed. please note that, we will deploy maximum 6 VM's on each Proxmox VE host. Because we required dedicated PCI/ USB connection to each VM. So we have configured 6 PCI card on each Hypervor server. Because there are few licenses are activated on hardware device level, which is connected via USB. The problem is hardware based licenses are not recognized by software tool from VM. But the same USB connection with Laptop works fine. But not from Proxmox VM. The software tool is installed the VM and tool has to recognized license, which is activated on hardware device and device is connected with VM via PCI.
