Hi all.

I'm looking for a HA solution on Proxmox VE: I have one server with 18 VM (OpenVZ and KVM) and I need security like if this server is down I can failover to another one.

So, I imagine thaht the second server with Proxmox is a clone of the first one and backup all VM's in a cron job and do ICMP request. If there is no answer, so the whole VM on second server being active and I have only to change my IP range physical destination on my provider ip failover management interface (OVH).

Is it possible or I need to look on onther solution?

we are working on this already to include HA in the standard setup.
see roadmap. (as soon as we support SAN a reliable fail over can be configured, we also think of DRBD). If you want to build something immediately you need to do some manual work so I suggest you wait a bit for the Proxmox VE solution - as soon as we got something to release we will publish it here.
