I read a lot about ProxmoxVE live sync using Ceph, and I am aware that I would need at least three nodes for it, since Ceph directly accesses the Harddrives. My problem now is, that I would really like to switch from vmware to Proxmox, but only have two nodes. Our szenario right consists if two servers that provide computing capacity, and two servers for storage capacity. The storage servers are the ones I am concerned about. Right now, I have a RAID6 on both of them, and use StorMagic Plugin to mirror both nodes. I am looking for a solution where I can use mirroring, but only with two nodes and a quorum maybe. The solution should also be sufficient to use it in production.
