[SOLVED] HA issues

Hi everyone !

This morning i had to reboot the master of my cluster.
The reboot didn't ended as expected... i got an error that says that the watchdog did not stop.
So i rebooted the server manually and now on the HA on the GUI i have my node set as "idle" instead of "active".

Do you guys have an idea on what i should do or where i should look at to solve this issue ?
Any explanation about how cluster work would be nice as well ( sorry to be that bad but i never ecountered any pbs with HA so far...)

Hi,

do you mean Cluster Recource manager instead Master node?
Because we have no master node in Proxmox VE.

You need a ha managed resource on this node to activate the lrm.

I did know that the master can change if a node goes down so it is not really a "master" it is problably on what node the CRM is running actually no ?


I didn't know that i need a ressource to activate it ! i should have done this without paying atention in the past so i had some VM managed by HA on every node ! That is why it worked so far...

Thank you a lot ! i did add a VM to an HA group and then the node is "active" again
