GUI shortcuts

I think that i once stumbled upon a list of GUI shortcuts but i can't find it any longer (or my brain is fooling me).

What i'd love is a shortcut to enter the global search field. I'm pretty sure it exists

or
ctrl+space

i am not sure if both work in all browsers, but in chromium they do

Nargh, so simple....tried all obvious <something> + f shortcuts

Works in latest FF too, thank you!
