Hi,
I find the designation of a storage in the left tree confusing. The relevant host is always listed at the end of the identifier. But that is already evident from the position in the tree. In my opinion, it would be better to list the target server (as used during setup) in brackets or to do without the specification altogether.
For example, the specification on host pve1 "usb-backup (pve1)" is misleading if the USB disk is plugged into host pve, as specified when setting up the storage.
Since "usb-backup (pve)" would be much more effective.
But maybe I'm missing something.

That's only true for the default Server View, but not the Folder View or Pool View.

You can (and should!) already restrict the storage to those nodes that it's actually available on, and in that case it will only show up on the respective nodes, and if that's just one, like in your USB storage example, then it will be already as you'd like to see.
