Guest Power failure results in application corruption

According to this: http://serverfault.com/questions/279571/lvm-dangers-and-caveats
To prevent data loss using LVM you should disable write cache on physical disk.

Yea ive seen that one a few times to. Seeing that I can reproduce the issue without actually removing power from the host I don't think its the actual disk cache. I can just use "stop" or "reset" from the proxmox GUI which in theory is the same as a hard reset, but the actually hardware isn't loosing power, so the on board disk cache should have no issues finishing its writes.

I will check, pretty sure the MSA 2040 disables it by default, however on my super micro hardware I don't think that is the case.
