Hey max,

the guest system assignes processes to available cores, in you case CentOS is doing the scheduling. Or am I somehow misunderstanding you question?

The guest computer is not load balancing the processor cores (CentOS 6.10).
On centos 7 and higher - it is balanced normally, but the load on the processor does not suit me. At 5 Gbit / s - the load is - 60-70% for 24 cores ...

And per centos 6.10 kernel 2.6.32 - 1 Gbit/s load processor - 5-10%
but no balancing.
I suspect it's the drivers

PS / Google traslate

It is possible that due to the old kernel (2.6) the balancing does not perform that well. But that has nothing to do with the virtualization.

on ordinary Intel IGB drivers on this kernel (2.6.32) - works fine. If without virtualization
