Hello, when i installing PMVE on the /dev/sda all goes well, but when i'm trying to install on /dev/sdb(or sdc) install fails when installing GRUB with error like "no partition on hd0".
It's normal?
And if anyone meets with that problem, please tell me solution.

what are you doing in detail and when do you get the error?

Today I had the same problem while installing from cd. My /dev/sda is a 9tb raid5 with a gpt partition label on an areca controller, /dev/sdb is another 250GB hdd reserved for proxmox. I removed the controller, installed proxmox from cd and pluged in the controller again. After that everything works.

In an other installation process I had another issue. There were two hdds installed. On the first win7 and on the second proxmox, but grub from proxmox was installed to the mbr of disk one. Or is this normal grub-handling?

EDIT: the error comes shortly before the installation process from cd comes to end.
