Hello,
for some reason that i don't know, grub is showing some errors on one of my VM.
I did nothing related to grub / partitions resizing / disks.
I just noticed some weirds behaviors, so i decided to reboot the VM, and i ended up with message :
error attempt to read or write outside of disk hd0
and a rescue grub prompt.

I tried to solve it with some help i found here and there, but even tho i see my partition (hd0,gpt2) and files on it, the command "insmod linux" or "insmod normal" will come up with the same error "error attempt to read or write outside of disk hd0" when "insmod fat" will work for instance.

Does someone has a clue on how i could reboot my VM ?
Thanks in advance

I'm currently facing similar error with 2 VMs on 2 different nodes in cluster. Both VMs have identical configuration (2 nodes of k8s cluster). Suddently after reboot they boot into grub. No errors there, but when I try to reconstruct grub or boot from grub prompt I have the same message as OP
