hi,

today at 11:43 someone tried to send me a mail, but it didn't go through. turns out it was greylisted:
Apr 20 11:43:17 smtp postfix/smtpd[2749]: connect from mx14lb.world4you.com[81.19.149.124] Apr 20 11:43:17 smtp postfix/smtpd[2749]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from mx14lb.world4you.com[81.19.149.124]: 450 4.7.1 <receiver@receiver.com>: Recipient address rejected: Service is unavailable (try later); from=<sender@sender.com> to=<receiver@receiver.com> proto=ESMTP helo=<mx14lb.world4you.com> Apr 20 11:43:17 smtp postfix/smtpd[2749]: disconnect from mx14lb.world4you.com[81.19.149.124] ehlo=2 starttls=1 mail=1 rcpt=0/1 bdat=0/1 quit=1 commands=5/7

he then tried to send it again, but this time it went through without issues.
a few hours later the greylisted mail arrived as well.

this seems a little inconsistent to me, is this intended behaviour or is there something wrong with my config?

thanks for reading.

i think, its ok

after the first reject, the pmg waits for the next try to deliver the mail - the second mail was the "second try" for pmg und it would delivered and the Server was listed for next time
