GPU Passthrough problem

Hello everyone

I’m a bit new to proxmox. I‘m running a couple of virtual machines and I just virtualized my unraid server on proxmox. Everything is working fine passed through my hard drives ( even though they changed names inside Unraid but it’s fine ) my only issue now is GPU passthrough. Sometimes it works sometime it doesn’t. It’s so strange.

If it’s a full proxmox server reboot from power outage. It detects the GPU inside unraid. For any reason I need to restart the Unraid VM I get a QEMU error and the VM fails to start.

How do I troubleshoot this on proxmox ?

Looks like your GPU does not reset properly, which means that it works if nothing touches it before starting the VM but won't works after restarting the VM. This is common for AMD GPUs that are supported by vendor-reset for example.I hope you understand that's impossible to suggest anything specific without more information about your GPU and system.

Thank you and apologies that my post didn’t have all the info

I have an Nvidia 1050 GPU , followed a guide online to blacklist the drivers from the host but apparently it’s not working
