I have been using nvidia 4090 with PCIe pass-thru and regular drivers.
I would like to know if I can use the same method , the same PCIE pass-thru for a real Dell server with H100 PCIE too?
I mean, I do not want to use NVIDIA grid driver, just use the usual driver like NVIDIA Data Center driver for Ubuntu 24.04 with PCIE GPU pass-thru.
Reason is, there would be only 1 VM on the server and the proxmox is needed for staging environment. (snapshot possibility)
With grid driver it would be overcomplication, as one needs also license server setup.
How does PCIE pass-thru impact the H100 nvlink? (H100 GPUs are connected via NVLINK) ?
