Hello,
Well I finally did it, everything is virtualize. So on my latest project I installed proxmox on my main computer. Ryzen 7 3700x 64 gig ram and 2 x gtx 1060 6GB versions.
Installed windows 11 for gaming purposes so that kid can game while I do my stuff. Passed through 1 of gpus and it's working flawlessly.
Installed Linux Mint for my own use, passed through 2nd gpu and it almost working flawlessly too, only issue I have is when I turn off my Mint VM, gpu fan spins up to full speed or almost full speed, I can hear it loud and clear.
That is not the case with windows installation. So my question is have anyone experienced something like this??
On proxmox side of things I'm using vfio drivers and I can see that both Gpus are using vfio drivers when I look it up with lspci - v and on VM side of things I'm using Nvidia drivers.
GPU is not spinning like that when I reboot proxmox server.
Thanks for all if any answers.
