Hi,
the files in PBS are written by the backup user. Does your SMB server have the correct permissions for that configured? What do ls -l /mnt/SMB_Backups/.chunks | head and stat /mnt/SMB_Backups/.chunks/bb9f/ show? Usually, it's better to have a storage directly attached to PBS. Like that, the traffic doesn't need to go over the network twice.

On pve it shows backup on pbs The storage system is also connected without problems exactly when you create a backup it's an error

Is the share mounted correctly in PBS? The datastore doesn't seem to contain any chunks, how did you create it? The .chunks directory should contain a lot of directories. Did you maybe only copy the backup index/metadata files (the vm and ct) from somewhere else without copying the .chunks directory, which contains the actual data?

yes, the storage is connected correctly, I can create a file with my own hands , file .chunks is a new file

Can you do so as the backup user instead of root? The .chunks directory should be created/populated automatically when you create a datastore in PBS. How exactly did you create the datastore? Were there any errors during that?

I rebooted pbs, then checked the file.chunks there shows the files later, made a mount and everything is in the folder.chunks empty

The problem is solved, I deleted the SMB_Back ups folder, deleted the cx , connected everything again , everything worked thank you very much

It seems your mount failed at some point, so either you wrote into the mount point instead of the remote fs and when mount worked later, it mounted empty directories over the directories existing in the mount point, or mount failed after the fs was already populated and you only saw the empty mount point.
