* AFAIK GFS is shipped in the kernel - i.e. you can create a GFS on top of a shared storage (which would that be in your case?).
* once you mount it you can add it as directory-type storage to PVE and be able to use it.
However - why would you want to use GFS - compared to e.g. shared LVM (which is used by more users and is thus better tested)?

shared lvm directly attatched has its disadvantages, as it will not hold all types/elements required, it only supports diskimages and containers.
Which is why i have been testing a GFS2 shared volume offered to PVE as directory, please look at my experiences so far as i have kept a reccord on it : https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/p...-lvm-lv-with-msa2040-sas-partial-howto.57536/
