I have some weird issues. I'm trying to restore to a PBS inside Proxmox 7. It's taking a long time, my suspicion has led me to think it's a slower network speed inside Proxmox. However, I have a Windows VM running on the PVE, when I run a speedtest from speedtest.net from a browser or using their speedtest cli, it's roughly the same. I get around 940 Mbps and 50 Mbps upload. However then I install speedtest-cli on the PVE host, the download speed is about half of that, around 400 Mbps.
Hence I'm thinking why my PBS Syncing is taking so much longer on this system compared to other ones I have setup. Also I get worse latency inside proxmox, about 30 ms while the Windows VM inside PVE is getting 8s.
I have similar situations in two setups, but no issue with a third.
They are all teamed LACP and bonded 1 Gig ethernet for all three.
Any thoughts or input? I would really appreciate it.
