[SOLVED] GeoIP with MaxMind

I am sure its me, however I cannot seem to get GeoIP working.

I have following this guide which is a variation of Heutgers':

apply the changes

pmgconfig sync --restart 1

It doesnt update:

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

How do I output to a file?

I tried the following and I cant stop the wall of text?

spamassassin -D --lint >> sa.txt
spamassassin -D --lint | tee sa.txt

spamassassin's debug output goes to stderr - try

spamassassin -D --lint 2> sa.txt

Found the issue - I missed installing the Reader:

perl -MCPAN -e 'install GeoIP2'

I would suggest to rather install the perl-package from the debian repository:
libgeoip2-perl

should ensure that you get any updates and should make upgrades across major version stable

Thanks @Stoiko Ivanov , that was what I was looking for and couldnt Google that package.

Will update package and record for future. Thanks heaps.
