Hi everyone,

I am new to Proxmox and have just installed Proxmox VE 8.3 to my Asrock N100M on a SATA SSD (ext4).

The installation has completed without errors, however, the system does not boot (it is stuck at Loading initial ramdisk ...). If I remove the quiet option, the logs stop at md: ... autorun DONE.. Sometimes it stops at /dev/root: Can't open blockdev.

What I have already tried:
  • Booting in recovery mode
  • Kernel parameters:
    • nomodeset
    • intel_iommu=on
  • Kernel versions:
    • 6.8.12-4-pve
    • 6.8.12-6-pve
    • 6.11.0-2-pve

I finally did manage to get it to "boot" by using the rescue boot option on the installation ISO. The system seems to be running just fine with this setup, but this is not a permanent solution. I did update the system once I got in, but this sadly did not solve the problem.
