Freezing of SSH and GUI Shell after 15 seconds

Hello All,

I read that several people have this issue but none of their solution was working for me.
The cause should be Asymmetric Routing.
in my Server there are two NICs and I make use of VLANs to separate the traffic.
I was Happy to get it all working despite not understanding all of the Networking aspects (i have to admit)....
..... hence i am hesitant do make changes on the live system.

I much rather have someone smarter looking over the config, to solve that issue.

What config details are require to help me there?
I did not want to flood the forum with a msg with long config text included.

i'm totally noob on ipv6.
But, based on your log of pfsense, is forwad rules applied ?

no worries. I am just happy it worked out of the box, as i am not the brightest candle on the cake.
I don't even know how to check for forward rules you mention let alone change them.

remote sessions via ANYDESK are working - it is a workaround. one can live with for now. but i much rather address the underlying issue.

Do you mean you freeze out of PVE management SSH and Web interface? If so, can you try to disable firewall temporarily to see if issue persists? (wiki article)
I believe that it drops packets at some point, but I can be wrong.

Hello vshab,

no luck even with disabled firewall the SSH session freezes and so does the WEB-Shell.
my suspicion is that the routing got its knickers in the twist..... unfortunately it is IPv6.
