Hi Team,

newbie to proxmox so please excuse if this is reduntant.

Recently decided to migrate to proxmox from frenas as wanted VM with PCI graphics passthrough.

imported zpool with datasets, added zpool using command "pvesm add zfspool nasPool2 -pool nasPool2"

however cannot see contents from gui. although when i do ls on the mount all datasets are present.

am i missing something? does proxmox gui only show certain contents types? will it not show all the data in pool or dataset?

any response will be appriciated.

The content view of a Storage is not a file browser per se.
A ZFS volume will be used to create further subvolumes for VM and container disks.

If you want to be able to use it for backups, ISOs and container images you need to add the ZFS volume as directory storage. Be aware that Proxmox VE expects a certain directory structure and will create it if not present. See https://pve.proxmox.com/pve-docs/pve-admin-guide.html#storage_directory
