[SOLVED] FreeBSD OS Type or Custom OS Types

Is there a way to set the OS type to FreeBSD or alternatively is there a way to save or create custom OS types?

Hello,

OS type "Other" should work fine.

When creating a virtual machine (VM), setting the proper Operating System(OS) allows Proxmox VE to optimize some low level parameters. For instance Windows OS expect the BIOS clock to use the local time, while Unix based OS expect the BIOS clock to have the UTC time.

If you know a parameter for kvm, that would solve a problem or improve performance on FreeBSD, I would be happy to add a Freebsd OS Type.
