Hi,
I'm testing Proxmox as in subject but either vncviewer (java applet) on opera, safari, firefox, iexplorer and also a vncviewer from tightvnc package (using -l -p 5900 -c "qm vncproxy 102 pass") show me a console as the attached image.
I've tried default, standard VGA and cyrrus video option.

Any hint?

Thanks,
d.

it looks like java problem
can you try changing the java run time like update for example from sun and see if it that sorted

I don't think it's a java related problem because also if I try:
server: nc -l -p 5900 -c "vncproxy qm vid pass"
client: vncviewer $client_ip
I see the same behaviour and java is not involved.

Another info: when I boot freebsd I see clearlyt the qemu boot screen and the loader one, so it seems a problem related to screen/console.

Thanks in advance,
d.

Yes, this is a kvm video driver problem. AFAIK this is already fixed in the kvm development tree, so you can expect a fix in our next release.

Hi,

The next release is ETA this week, or next week.
As stated from some of the workers...

I just tested FreeBSD 7.1 on the Proxmox VE 1.2 (with KVM-85) with success! (not yet public but we are working on this)
