Freebsd 12.1 VM - QEMU guest agent

Hi all

I'm new at Proxmox, so bear with me.

I just installed a VM based on a hardened Freebsd 12.1 (Opnsense 20.7.5).

I'm looking for a way to install the QEMU guest agent. Since Opnsense blocks outside packages I have been unable to compile the agent aborche has created. https://github.com/aborche/qemu-guest-agent

Is there a way to grab it from somewhere already compiled ?
Is the lack of the agent the reason that balloning memory does work or restart/shutdown also is problematic ?
