Hi
There is Proxmox 6 and Fujitsu Eternus DX200.

Is it possible to somehow connect them to each other ?.
Proxmox adds iSCSI from the DX200 to the 'Storage' list,
but when trying to create LVM it cannot see 'Base Storage' and create a disk. (CHAP is OFF)

Is this due to some settings or restrictions from the FJ Eternus DX200?
Is there a way to work with the DX200 + Proxmox? (Could be another way?)

ps. The problem has already been described, but with other devices and other sources of the problem

If you want to use iSCSI as a backing device with LVM and have multipath, you need to setup everything manually.

I've never used Eternus with iSCSI before, we always exclusively use FC, but the setup is similar and the multipath setup can be found here.

Yes, manually is good, but..

Before connect to Eternus - I forgot to add Proxmox IQN Name ( /etc/iscsi/initiatorname.iscsi) and IP Name in iSCSI host group..

After that all is well..

Hello,

could you please explain it a bit more, I have a similar issue, I was able to add Eternus as iSCSI storage, but I am unable to see any Content in view. I have configured Lun group and all.

1. Check your ETERNUS - Port/Host/LUN Groups. I use iscsi and 3 proxmox hosts:

3. for the initial setup (rather for visibility) I used webmin. node 1-4 - ETERNUS.

Hi, I would like to know how to log in to Eternus. Our support has ended, and we no longer know how to access the correct interface. The issue is that we cannot contact technical support. We are able to log in to Eternus, but the setup appears different it does not show any iSCSI settings or LUN group options.

There are two interfaces on the eternus, one with the configured interface (MNT) that you have configured and the other on the remote support port (RMT), which has AFAIK 192.168.1.1 as IP. Login is always possible via the fe.ce account, which has a password constructed of the serial and two random characters that are printed somewhere on the chassis.

Even if you would have support, I don't know if they could help you to login in to your box besides what I already wrote. This is part of the official manual which is publicly available.
