first time install stuck after install trying to get ubuntu

Can you illustrate what you are entering and receiving?
Also, can you clarify what you are looking to do? Can you access GUI?

first I installed the proxmox download from my USB drive that I got on their sire, went through the process of set up, I set up a user name and password
then I rebooted my laptop and got to the screen that shows welcome to virtual environment please go to your web browser to configure the server
https://192.168.100.2:8006/ under that it has the log in and password that I enter and I get the command line root@proxmox:"# at this point I do not know what to enter, when I try to access the address in a browser it gave me It does not bring me to any to website, so obviously I am confused with something that may be simple but I am not familar with coding, I just want to create a home lab and my own cloud server if possible.
