The proxmox admin guide discusses what services are running and the ports these services use. e.g. ssh, ntp, smtp, dns etc....

What I would like to know is what ports does proxmox require outbound beside the ones listed.

We have our proxmox server behind other firewalls.

I need to know what ports proxmox needs outbound to make sure clammav updates and/or any other services are kept up to date?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
for the complete list see theadmin guide, e.g. for getting clamAV updates proxmox needs port 80.

I have checked the admin guide.

I have added firewall rules only allowing the proxmox server the following services outbound.
smtp
dns
www

I have hundreds of logs like this from our proxmox to an external server on port 2703.

e.g. Deny tcp src Mail-dmz:192.168.254.xxx/38075 dst outside:66.151.150.12/2703 by access-group "maildmz"

From what I can find its sms-chat? I cant find anything listed regarding this?

Hi,
regarding to the admin guide, port 2703 is razor, see the admin guide, chapter 3.2 firewall settings. you have to enable access from proxmox to internet, port 2703.
