Firewall configuration options unable to pass rule parameter

per the wiki --proto <string> represent the protocol you want the firewall rule to be associated with, thus the usage is --proto TCP for example, yet under the section Security Groups -p is used as key for protocol option(NB: option -p compiles). In fact if you use --proto as the key you get an error as follows "unable to parse rule parameters: --proto tcp". ( i also tried with -proto).

I would like clarifications on that.
Thank You
You are correct, there is an inconsistency in the way the PVE firewall parses the config files. -p <string> should work for both, rules and security groups. Please file a bug report in our bugtracker
