Hi,
I'm getting ready to move a few KVM virtual machines from an Ubuntu server running libvirt to a new Proxmox VE host. Most of the VMs use QCOW2 disks, and they include both Linux and Windows guests.
I've read a few migration guides, but I'm not sure what the most reliable method is. Is it enough to copy the disk images and recreate the VMs in Proxmox, or is there a better way?
Also, are there any common issues I should watch out for, such as VirtIO drivers, boot mode (BIOS vs. UEFI), or network settings?
I'd really appreciate hearing how others have done this and any tips that could help make the migration go smoothly.
Thanks!
