File system selection during installation.

I want to install proxmox on HPE DL380 G10. Which file system i can select, ext4, xfs, zfs. secondly i want to connect HPE MSA2060 through FC. Please guide i am new to proxmox.

That depends on what you want to do. If you're unsure, just stick with the default.

If you only want to connect it to one machine and NEVER connect it to other machines, you can choose from the same filesystems you already stated in addition to LVM, LVM-thin.

@LnxBil, I want to configure 3 Proxmox servers and want to connect with HPE MSA 2060 directly through Fiber Connections.

I would assume you have local raid 1 for the hosts, then just go with the default.

Your SAN will be "formatted" as thick LVM, best to read and apply this.

@LnxBil i connected the SAN with three host on point-to-point FC HBA,

I made the cluster of three Nodes, but MSA is unknown to other two nodes. I first made thin lvm of MSA on 1st Node (PVENODE01) i guess this should not be created before clustering and after creating cluster it should be added at storage in cluster? please clarify this to me.

Is there one LUN presented to all nodes or has each node their own LUN?
We need more information what you did and how you did it.

@LnxBil actually i have two pools in my MSA2060 with WWNs with different LUN No Assigned to them, These two are shown at promox servers. at MSA 2060. Can i configure Multipath or create Thin LVM on 1st Node
