We recently updated our APC RPS devices to the newest 6.x firmware, mainly because of issues with SSL support in the old firmware. After updating the firmware, fence_apc didn't work anymore, some investigation showed it was because pre 5.x commands were send to the APC for power off and on. The 6.x firmware uses the same commands as 5.x. Fence_apc detects the firmware of the APC and chooses the corresponding commands to send, but 6.x wasn't recognized as firmware, therefore it falls back to the old commands. I submitted a bugreport and fix to RedHat's Bugzilla, they made their own fix and release a new fence-agents package.

It would be nice if the package can be updated in the Proxmox repositories to prevent problems for other users.

Thank you!
