Hi,

When working with an lxc via the pve web gui and switching from the shell view to any other view (e.g. resources), after switching back to the shell view, the terminal output of the lxc is gone and the screen is empty. It would be great, if the terminal output could be made persistent so that it is still there when I switch back.

Thanks!

sadly thats not really how it works. a terminal is only a series of characters, and there is no 'screen buffer' or similar (in contrast to a vm) so you could not save the 'current' output because how far back is it?
this depends on so many things that we cannot control or see from the outside (with reasonable effort at least) which makes this infeasible

having said that, you should be able to use something like tmux which is able to preserve the content (because itself is a terminal)
also, most shells allow to press 'Ctrl+L' to redraw the screen, maybe thats enough for you
